The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised a two-day Capacity Building Programme on Classroom Management. The workshop which was organized for teachers and was conducted at Neerja Modi School on May 14 and 15, 2023. It was conducted by Ms. Nishi Phogat and Ms. Rehana Patni.

This informative programme provided a platform to the teachers to adopt various effective techniques for classroom management. The resource persons effectively engaged the teachers in group activities and discussed common problems faced by teachers in managing classes. According to them classroom management includes effective discipline, being prepared for class, motivating students, being creative and imaginative and preparing students for future life. For effective classroom management, it is important for the teacher to be well versed with teaching methodology, to have proper skills and techniques for effective classroom management and to have positive approach. It was an interactive workshop where the teachers participated enthusiastically and sought answers to their queries from the experts. “Teaching is a lifelong learning.
