Is it just teaching Math and Science to children as we have been doing for decades? STEM education is all about the teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math as interconnected disciplines. It is an integrated approach to help students connect Math and Science learning to real world applications, ensuring they stay engaged. Technology and Digital tools are an integral part of today's 21st century world and preparing our students to leverage them for learning is the key to success. The hands-on projects as part of STEM Learning helps children appreciate working with design and engineering as a structured process are the key to innovation.STEM Education has been proved to be an effective way to help students acquire 21st Century skills like Creativity, Critical Thinking, Collaboration and Communication Skills. It does so in a way that makes learning Science and Math fun and integrating with technological tools of today like tablets and internet. There is substantial evidence to show that not only do the students' academic scores improve but they also gain a deeper understanding of the subject along with life and leadership skills.
